Demetris Metropoulos is the Head-Teacher of the so-called Inter-Cultural Primary School of Thessaloniki in Macedonia, North Greece. Years ago during his service at the Hellenic Educational Mission in London he had been a Teacher at our Hellenic College of St. Panteleimon.
Now he is back to London on holiday, accompanied by his wife Isabella and son Theodoros. We are pleased to offer them hospitality at our Community and he has kindly taken an interest on the progress of our sacred and historic project. He looked at every detail of our building and admired the beauty and splendour of our new place of worship.
Going up to the top of the Church he has seen how the bricklaying progresses and he could also note that the Dome is getting ready to be covered with copper leaves. Then he admired the beautiful view from up there.
