The pilling mat is being removed in stages.
Then the engineers start preparing the surface of the earth and put 50mm concrete blinding on it.
This will be a good base for the reinforcement, which is to be put on the top of the concrete blinding sometime next week.

Thank you for your comment. It is definitely 50mm. It is a thin concrete base. This has been given to me in writing by the Project Manager Mr. Andy Hogan, whom I would like to thank very much for explaining to me every day all the stages of the works.
