On the top of the scaffolding

Climbing up is always an interesting experience.

Climbing on the scaffolding that is in the interior of our newly built Church gives you the chance of getting up on the heavens (the Dome symbolizes the heavens in our Holy Tradition).

The plastering has progressed greatly on the higher parts of the interior.

Around the ring of the Dome a decorative element of plaster is now fixed.

The windows all around the Dome have now been fixed.

The windows

The first windows have now been fixed.

They had been here with us for quite a while, but their time has just come now to be put in place.

They were made by a company called BLAIRS, which operates up in Scotland.

They actually look beautiful and fit very nicely on both our Bell Tower and on various walls.

Soon they will all be put in place, thus securing the Church even better.

Arches

A “hand of God” is on site today and places the new arches on the top of the windows.

The arches came ready made and they are being placed where they belong by our usual staff and by some specialists who came especially for this.

They actually look very attractive and they will beautify even more our splendid building.

Windows are here

59 windows are now in our Church. They came all the way from Scotland. They are wooden with glass on them.

Our builders will start soon, and according to the programme, placing them where they belong.

On a wall in the Nave there are three suggestions as to the colour and style of the final rendering for the interior of the Church, for which we must decide soon.

The bricklaying is being continued in both the Bell Tower and the Dome.
