Marble staircase

Within the Bell Tower there is a staircase. This leads to the Gallery of the Church as well as to the top of the Church roof and to the bells.

The staircase has now been marbled with nice white shining marble.

The marble technician who worked hard to place all the marble tiles on the stairs is Mr. Marios Athanasiou.

Floor day

It is only one day away from the Official Opening, which is to take place tomorrow evening, from 6.00 pm.

Many works have obviously to be done still, as this is a major project.

It seems like the main concern today is the floor, both outside and inside our new Church.

Black tarmac is spread out and levelled throughout the front yard of the building.

At the back of the Church special workers are laying there a brick surface.

Inside the Church the marble specialists are placing the last marble plaques on the floor.

More doors, marbles and wall

The works are continuing intensively, as we are reaching the final week, before the official opening.

The three carpenters from Cyprus are working hard fitting doors in their places.

Both outside as well as inside doors are being put in place.

The little Church Office has now its own door leading into the main Church.

The marble specialists are still working in the interior, producing some real pieces of art.

The Irish bricklayers are working outside, preparing the new front wall.

Visit to Mr. Costas Sakellarios

Today we had the honour of visiting Mr. Costas Sakellarios and had an interesting meeting with him.

Fr. Anastasios, our Architect Mr. Michael Neocleous, our Treasurer Mr. Soteris Constantinou and Mr. Christos Orthodoxou visited the company Pisani Group, owned by a Greek man, Mr. Sakellarios.

This company specialises in marble works. We had an interesting initial meeting about the marbles we are going to use on the floor of our new Church. Mr. Sakellarios was very helpful and supportive towards our sacred project. We shall meet again soon in order to organise and finalise our cooperation in this matter.
