Saint Phanourios day today. We had a Divine Liturgy at our Church in commemoration of this Martyr of the Christian Faith.
Traditionally we bake cakes and bring them to Church on Saint Phanourios day. The Priest blesses them and then the cakes are distributed as a special blessing to our relatives, friends and neighbours.
