A Greeting from the Project Manager

My name is Andrew Hogan and I am employed by John Doyle Construction as the Project Manager for the construction of the St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church. The design of the beautiful new church presents us with quite a challenge due to the complex number of arches, barrel vault roof and central dome. It is my intention that the main structure of the new church will be completed by mid March 2010 and I am certain that the new church building will become an iconic landmark in North London.

It is clearly evident that the conception of the new church was many years in the making and it has taken a lot of hard work and dedication by the committee and the community in order for the development to commence. The shear number of people from this close community that rallied around to move the contents from the old church, to the St Panteleimon Centre (the temporary church) was overwhelming and demonstrates the dedication and commitment of the community.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Fr. Anastasios and his family for their warm welcome and for their continued patience whilst living next door to a construction site. I am sure that at times it has been far from easy.

I am proud to be part of the construction of the new iconic building and look forward to the completion of the project.
